Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures with a focus on implant surgeries and restorative dental care.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of dental instruments and ensure their proper use and maintenance.
  • Manage inventory control in the operatories, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and organized.
  • Strictly adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Deliver exceptional patient interactions, including scheduling appointments, providing follow-up treatment information, post-surgical care instructions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Perform basic lab procedures, such as taking impressions, pouring models, and preparing cases for external labs.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas and treatment rooms.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the center.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • State Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) or Dental XRay license required.
  • RDA or EFDA license preferred
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, 1+ years required
  • Focus on implants and restorative dentistry. AOX experience preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of dental instruments and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic lab procedures and manage inventory effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and office cleanliness.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to various duties as needed.
  • Requires some flexibility in scheduling.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands and arms to operate general office equipment (PC, telephone, file cabinets, copier, fax machine and printer). The employee may occasionally lift and/or move between 10 and 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee may need to travel to healthcare practices.
