Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team in a hands-on, high-impact role. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Staff Accountant or Financial Analyst ready to expand their scope and gain exposure across accounts payable, payroll, and core accounting functions.

What You’ll Do

Accounts Payable

  • Manage full-cycle AP including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments
  • Maintain vendor records and support new vendor onboarding
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all payments
  • Partner with departments on expense tracking and reporting

Payroll & Compensation

  • Process and oversee bi-weekly payroll in partnership with HR and external providers
  • Manage and reconcile provider (doctor) compensation
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations
  • Support payroll audits and reporting

Accounting & Month-End Close

  • Support month-end close (journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis)
  • Maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts
  • Assist with financial reporting and internal analysis

Process Improvement & Finance Operations

  • Identify and implement process improvements across AP and payroll
  • Support system enhancements and scalable workflows
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and cross-functional finance projects

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3–6+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • Hands-on experience with AP and/or payroll required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with systems such as bill.com, Sage Intacct, ADP, NetSuite, or similar
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred:

  • CPA (or pursuing)
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or FP&A
  • Experience in healthcare or multi-location environments
